About Cueva Caimán

Cueva Caimán is an exclusive cultural community for people who want art and culture to play a more meaningful role in their lives.

We bring together art, music, collecting, hospitality, conversation, and philanthropy through intimate gatherings designed to help people connect more deeply with artists, ideas, and one another.

It began with a simple experiment: living with museum-level art inside a Pittsburgh apartment and inviting people into that experience. The apartment became a house, the gatherings became more intentional, and the idea eventually grew into a permanent studio and membership community.

Today, Cueva is centered in Pittsburgh, where members gather for listening sessions, artist encounters, dinners, conversations, and other cultural programs. The setting is intentionally intimate. Smaller rooms allow people to spend more time with the art, speak directly with artists and cultural leaders, and form relationships that can continue beyond a single event.

Our work also extends beyond the studio. Pop-ups, private salons, partnerships, and special events in New York connect the community with a wider network of artists, collectors, institutions, and patrons. Pittsburgh provides continuity and a permanent home; New York creates opportunities for expansion and exchange.

Cueva is the latest stage in a vision that has grown from apartment to house to studio. Over time, portions of this model will expand into Casa Caimán: a larger living environment shaped by art, architecture, hospitality, cultural exchange, and patronage.

The goal remains the same at every scale: to create places where art is not separated from life, but becomes part of how people gather, build relationships, support artists, and contribute to culture.
